Samsung appears to be preparing its next generation of tablets and smartwatches, according to new entries spotted in the GSMA database. The listings reference upcoming models from the Galaxy Watch 9, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Tab S12 lineups, offering early confirmation that development is underway.
Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 Identifiers Appear
The certification data includes model numbers SM-L345, believed to correspond to the Galaxy Watch 9, and SM-L716, which is widely associated with the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The Ultra model is of particular interest, as Samsung did not significantly update its hardware platform in 2025, suggesting that 2026 may bring a more substantial generational upgrade.
While no hardware specifications are revealed at this stage, the appearance of new model numbers points to a clear refresh cycle for Samsung's smartwatch lineup. The Galaxy Watch series is traditionally announced during the summer.
Galaxy Tab S12 Lineup May See Changes
Tablet-related listings reference SM-X846, linked to the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus, and SM-ZX946, associated with the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. Notably absent is a model number for a standard Galaxy Tab S12, suggesting Samsung may once again adjust its tablet lineup by offering only two variants.
Samsung has previously alternated between including or excluding a base model in its flagship tablet series, and the current certifications hint that the company has not finalized the structure of the Tab S12 family. If launched, the tablets are expected later in the year, potentially in late autumn 2026.
As with all certification sightings, final product names, configurations, and launch timelines may change ahead of official announcements.
